If you are anything like me, I always forget to buy gifts until the last minute. This year has been so special since we are expecting a little one on the way, Harsh and I celebrated Mother’s day. I felt so happy and overwhelmed being able to celebrate such a beautiful day as I become a mother. Now, it’s my turn and I keep thinking what should I do for Harsh lol. He has been working so much on his projects lately and barely gets any sleep in, I honestly think we need to go on a date this weekend to give him a little break.
Father’s day is such a special day. My dad is the funniest and coolest guy. He is always singing old songs around the house haha. My parents live in Florida so we only see each other few times a year. Growing up, he was super strict and I was intimidated by him but as I got older, I realized how funny and silly he was. Now, we joke around more than anything. Best thing we like to do together is pull my younger brother’s leg. He gets annoyed fast haha.
My dad has always pushed me to do my best in everything I have set out to do. One of the best memory I can recall was during my engineering exams. I couldn’t solve a equation for almost 3-4 hours and I got so frustrated that I gave up and started to cry really loud while laying on my kitchen floor LMAO. I know I was so dramatic HAHA! He came to me and said “oh mere baccha” (oh my baby) don’t cry and picked me up. He talked and hugged me to make me feel better. That’s all I needed.
Now, I am so looking forward to seeing Harsh being a father. I already know he will be an amazing one. His care and love for his family is so pure and sweet that I can only imagine how much love and support he will give his own child. Just to give you an example how caring (and obsessed lol) he is. Whenever we are hanging out with friends or family, he sometimes talks about Harry (our dog) for 30 mins or so haha. Their bond is so strong and amazing but sometimes I think, he will be THAT parent who just talks about his child to everyone LOL. I don’t blame him, I have a feeling I will be the same haha. I am sure most parents are like that.
We just love our babies!
Have a wonderful day and Happy Father’s day to all the wonderful father’s 😀
