How are you all doing? I hope you all have been enjoying my posts recently about my travels. It feels like it has been so busy lately, but it’s all productive which is good. My day starts at 7am, and that too with Instagram. Even though I hate waking up early in the mornings, but once I am up, I am super happy and cheery. I am thankful to my husband who wakes me up every morning, even though sometimes I am like “No, I don’t want too”. He is also pushing me to work out, I know he is so supportive. I will add that to my routine, and I will share my progress with you all as I go along.
Ok, so back to the actual post I was going to discuss hehe…
Today I will be sharing my Rome experience, this city definitely on top of my list of favorite places. At first sight, you can see and feel the influential architecture and culture. The city had vibrant street life. We visited most of the districts in the area; some of which included Modern Center, Old Rome, Vatican, Colosseo, North Centre, Aventino and Esquilino. We were lucky enough to manage to see all top tourist spots including the local life in Aventino. My favorite spot was Vatican, St. Peter Basilica is must sight to see in a lifetime, even though we didn’t go up the roof (total of 323 steps or elevator). The square itself was so grand, and magnificent. Also, the double spiral staircase in Vatican museum was my favorite along with Michelangelo’s frescoes. The Colosseum is another must see sight, I am sure we have all seen this on wallpapers. I used to have one on my desktop in college. History in Europe is so well preserved, and hands down Rome takes the cake. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Let me know if you have ever visited Rome, and what was your favorite spot?
Have a great rest of the day lovelies!!
